Learning in the Kindergarten
K3 starting from 3 years old, K4. & K5 graduation at 5 years old
It is fun and engages all the senses. Students are playing, working and learning with a purpose. They are doing it for themselves and they are learning essential skills such as problem-solving, working with others, sharing and much more.

JAS considers Abeka’s curriculum textbooks
Abeka’s approach to learning relies on the spiral teaching method because it's a proven, time-tested approach. Spiral review focuses on mastery, not memorization. It forms a bridge to new topics, promoting flexible and critical thinking skills.
The kindergarten team work hard to develop a wide range of skills for your child, including physical, social, emotional, language and literacy, and thinking (cognitive) skills.
Benefits of the Primary Years Program in the JAS Kindergarten
Students have a voice and are encouraged to take responsible action with their own environment and are supported to reach out beyond their own community.

Learning through engagement with festivals and special focus days, Field Trip, Color day activity, Pajama day / Hygiene, Traditional Breakfast, Olives, Breast Cancer Awareness , Christmas party / Easter, Ramadan / Al Adha, 100 Days K5 Graduation, Mother’s Day celebration.
Parent observations of classroom learning.
Performances and activities throughout the year, International Week, Christmas, Ramadan, Culture Day, Graduation, Sports Day and field trips.
The school Day
JAS week is from Monday through Thursday and Saturday, Friday and Sunday are the days off.
JAS uses a semester system of scheduling. The Kindergarten opens from 7:00-1:30 (Mon-Thursday) Saturdays until 1:00 pm. daycare from 1:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m from Monday to Thursday.

Kindergarten K3 Registration procedure for NEW students, 2023/2024
Registration for potential NEW students for the JAS Kindergarten K3 CLASSES ONLY opens December 23,2022 - January 12,2023
Kindly note that to be eligible for K-3 registration, the date of birth of your child must be between 1/1/2020 – 31/12/2020.
If your child was born in 2020, they are eligible to attend kindergarten in fall 2023 ( starting 1 September 2023).
By completing the online form, we will respond back after mid-January 2023 with suggested next steps including to set a date for interview with your child.
The “Kindergarten Registration” is completed through an online registration process accessed at: https://jerusalem.livetop.net

- Our commitment to language learning, Our Language of instruction is English. We recognize and celebrate Arabic, we teach a third language- Hebrew from k5.
