Our Journey
The school was established in 1988 with sixty-six students, all students were Arab-Americans who had returned to Palestine. Over the next three to four years local Palestinians began to enroll in our school and we became a local private Palestinian school. The student body grew to about one hundred in the nineties.
The school 2023/2024 enrolls more than 1160 students and employs a faculty and staff of approximately 90 staff members and governed by an eleven member school board of directors, offering education of excellent quality, with English as the principal language of instruction.
The Jerusalem School is a private, co-educational K3-12 institution offering a college preparatory program for American, Palestinian and Israeli universities. The school, located in Beit Hanina – East Jerusalem, was established to meet the needs of families seeking a quality education in the English language.
